And the final stretch is here

We are all the way up to W for Word Count.

  1. Ditto what Annalisa said. But I am getting the message that it is a duplicate of a previously uploaded video.

  2. Sorry it took so long to fix, I've been at work all day. Of course, I wouldn't start having troubles until the final stretch!

  3. Worth waiting for! I'm very unwordy - novella length is perfect for me (or perhaps, short novel) but that is just as limiting as writing too long.

It would be great if we could just write the story we want to, regardless of length considerations. Maybe one day

  4. I think the trap some aspiring authors fall into is pointing out well-known books with large word counts as examples to why they should be allowed to query long books. However, such examples are usually from established authors. For example, the first published books from Stephen King (Carrie) and J.K. Rowling (first Harry Potter) were relatively short.

  5. Something I never worry about is word count (except in my job)

I love comments! Let me know what's on your mind.
